* 以奥地利内科医生麦斯麦/梅斯梅尔（Friedrich Anton Mesmer，1734-1815）的名字命名，该术语由布莱德（James Braid，1795-1860）创造，来将麦斯麦术、“神经睡眠”与唯灵论和江湖骗术区分。

** Wicca是当下最流行的现代巫术流派之一，通常音译“威卡”、“维卡”。

# 诗人君翻译作“招灵术”。在许多文艺作品中译做“死灵术”。这一词来源于古希腊语"nekros"（死尸）和"manteia"（预言或占卜），字面意义就是：“通过死者占卜”。也是中世纪对牧师中的异端分子进行迫害的一个主要依据。
但如本书所说，在实际应用中necromancy/nigromancy被用来指称了更多与“死灵”毫无无关的内容，例如占星术、草药、护符制作等等。因此在广泛意义上翻译做“死灵术”就容易引起误解了。

## 文艺作品中多译作“魔法圈”，诗人君译作“魔法圆”。是召唤仪式中画在地上用来保护召唤师的一种特殊图案。

卜天老师是小生最佩服的翻译者了，他新翻译的《炼金术的秘密》已经要出版了，看书的速度都比不上他翻译的速度诶。。。_(:3」∠)_

前几天刚看完，个人觉得原文对理论体系的整理不错，但译文还有一些瑕疵。

1.enchant翻译成“附魔”在中文语境里总感觉有点微妙，不如借鉴韦伯文本中的disenchantment（祛魅）理念，改成“赋魅”。毕竟enchanted本身就有“像被施了魔法一般着迷”的意思。

2.divine economy翻译成“神的经纶”怪怪的，如果写作“神圣经营”会不会更通顺一些？

3.“as above，as below”原文翻译成“上行下效”。我觉得还是直译成“如在其上，如在其下”比较好。毕竟不是中文语境的原生词语，翻译成成语容易加上某种官僚或者等级制的奇怪感觉。

4.numerology比起“数字命理学”……还是叫“灵数学”比较好？

欢迎讨论~~有瑕疵是正常的，毕竟神秘学连正式出版的译文都木有几本呢，翻译只能自己找词，所以肯定有很大的争议。我个人是这样理解：

1、我觉得翻译成“祛魅”也OK ，实际上社会学里也有翻成“去魅”、“去魔”、“解魅”的。估计卜天老师是想强调一下与魔法的关系。
韦伯那本书的翻译是 disenchantment 祛魅，reenchantment 复魅，主要指的是科学与世界的客体化。这里enchantment 附魔；disenchantment 除魔；re-enchant 复魔，主要强调的是驱逐或复兴魔法的世界观。
但毕竟英文是一样的词，所以按照社会学惯例来翻译也没问题。

2、这个是神学的东西，不太了解背后的内涵，我不好说。估计神学那边也有一些译名表。

3、我同意你的观点，上行下效容易有误解，所以这一条译文我没收录。

4、“灵数学”的确圈内用的比较多，我回头标注一下。不过原文这里主要是想和“数理符号学”做区别，翻成灵数学就看不太出来区别了。我觉得还是看语境翻吧。
