你需要：
一只黑色的蜡烛
一只白色的蜡烛
符合你星座的蜡烛
用于驱逐的油
用于好运的油
一张纸
大锅
画魔法圆。用驱逐油给黑色蜡烛进行油礼，想象所有阻碍、坏习惯等等都离开了你。点燃蜡烛，说：
"This candle shall absorb
All negative forces acting around me and through me.
As this candle burns,
It engulfs all negative energies,
Clearing this next year for success."
用幸运魔法油为白色蜡烛进行油礼，视觉化所有好的想法、成功和积极的能量聚集于你。点燃这支蜡烛说：
"This candle shall attract
All positive forces to act around me and through me.
As this candle burns,
It purifies my mind, soul, heart and body,
As I prepare for this next year."
点燃星座蜡烛，说：
"As this candle represents myself,
It is a beacon for positive energies,
Love, light, and prosperity.
As this candle burns bright,
The light of my journey will burn bright
With happiness and gifts
From the Lord and Lady in this coming year."
把代表你的蜡烛放在白蜡烛与黑蜡烛之间。回忆你曾经的悔恨，自己的缺点，自己曾犯过的错误，把它们写在纸上。
用黑色蜡烛的火焰烧掉这张纸，说：
"As the snake sheds its skin,
So do I shed these ill things."
将纸丢在大锅里。想着你在即将到来的新一岁中想要完成的事情，所有你想得到的优良品质，经历你想获得的。把它们写在纸上。
用白色蜡烛的火焰烧掉这张纸，说：
"As the Lord and Lady watch over me, So shall I gain all these good things."
把这张纸丢进锅中。
用祝福过的水擦拭你的脚，说：
"Blessed be my feet, that I may ever walk in Your ways."
擦拭你的胸膛，说：
"Blessed be my breast, that I may feel Your love for me."
擦拭你的嘴唇，说：
"Blessed be my lips, that I may speak and honor the truth."
擦拭你的眼睛，说：
"Blessed be my eyes, that I may clearly see the path before me."
擦拭你的双手，说：
"Blessed be my hands, that I may do Your work with strength and skill.
